How long does an Initial Assessment take?
Initial Assessment is up to 3 hours inclusive of 1.5 to 2 hours appointment duration, documentation and development of OT goals & action plan.
What else does an Occupational Therapist charge for?
Non face-to-face work relating to participant's health condition/s are billed at the OT hourly rate for:

Session preparation.

Written summary of OT sessions to participant and/or caregiver.

Does Koalified Therapy complete Functional Capacity Assessments?
No.
What is the cost for assessment & report for equipment (assistive technology) > $1500 ?

What is the turnaround time for summaries, letters and reports?
Summary of OT sessions are completed within 2 working days.
Letters of recommendation are completed within 2 weeks.
Reports for equipment (Assistive Technology) for items < $1500 are completed within 2 weeks.
Complex reports for equipment in home, wheelchairs and scooters > $1500 are completed within 4 weeks
Are after-hours appointments offered?
No - working hours are listed on Contact page.
Latest start time for OT sessions is 4pm.
What other fees are charged?
Late-cancellation less than 48 hours notice = 100% of the hourly rate.
Non-attendance to appointment = 100% of the hourly rate.
If I am a private paying client, do I need to pay a deposit to secure appointment?
Yes - 50% deposit is required prior to delivery of OT services for private clients and group education.
Are rebates offered such as Medicare bulk billing?
No - rebates accepted for people with private health funds if eligible and OT is covered.
Is free education and training provided to organisations?
Yes - on a case by case basis.
